# Keyboard shortcuts

## Anywhere
These work in any app. Both can be changed or cleared in Settings → Shortcuts.

| ⌥⌘D | Show or hide the Color Dock |
## While picking
The magnifier is open and following the cursor.

| ⇧-click, ⇧↩, ⌘C | Pick and keep picking |
| ⌥-click, ⌥↩ | Pick and copy the color's palette name instead of its value (see [The picker](https://dabbit.app/docs/picker#names-instead-of-values)) |
| Esc, right-click | Cancel |
| Space | Freeze the screen under the loupe; Space again to release |
| ← ↑ → ↓ | Nudge one pixel; with ⇧, ten |
| 1 3 5 7 | Aperture: one exact pixel, or a 3×3, 5×5, 7×7 average |
| = / − | Zoom in / out |
| G | Show or hide the pixel grid |
| ⌥-scroll | Zoom |
| ⌘-scroll, or pinch | Make the loupe bigger or smaller |
| Plain scroll | Scrolls the page underneath, so you can reach a color that's off screen |

| ⌘Z / ⇧⌘Z | Undo / Redo. Every edit to palettes and recent picks is a step: a color edit, a rename, a delete, a drag, a generator update. The Edit menu names the step (“Undo Delete 3 Colors”) |

| ⌘+ / ⌘− / ⌘0 | Bigger or smaller swatches in the grid; back to the size that fits the window |
